The upper is made of abrasion-resistant synthetic material, enhanced with a toe protector and a wraparound shank to protect against abrasion and prevent debris and moisture from entering. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane ensures waterproofness and excellent breathability. The shoe features the 3D Flex System Evo™, which allows for natural ankle mobility while stabilizing it during strides. The Double Heel™ heel construction aids descent control and improves foot stability. The 5mm La Sportiva Mountain Hiking insole adds comfort, especially over long distances. The polyurethane foam midsole with a TPU film provides cushioning and durability. The Vibram outsole with the Impact Brake System provides good traction on rocky and uneven terrain. Each pair weighs approximately 480g , making the shoes relatively lightweight for a trekking model of this design.
