The upper, made of abrasion-resistant synthetic fabric with a water-repellent finish, provides protection against moisture and abrasion, while the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane protects feet from rain while maintaining breathability. The 3D Flex System Evo™ allows for natural ankle movement and adapts to uneven terrain while providing adequate support. The Double Heel™ heel construction improves braking on descents and allows for a smoother roll, resulting in less fatigue on long hikes. The Vibram SpringLug Tech sole with Impact Brake System tread provides reliable traction on a variety of surfaces—rocks, dirt, and wet rocks. Polyurethane foam in the midsole, along with an abrasion-resistant TPU film, improve cushioning and durability. The 5 mm footbed of the Mountain Hiking boots ensures softness and comfort even after long hours of walking. Each pair weighs approximately 480 g, making them relatively lightweight for a high-top trekking shoe.
