Developed with SALEWA athletes who regularly train in the Alps, the wind-resistant and breathable Pedroc Alpha Hoody is designed to provide active insulation for speed hiking, mountain training or other mountain sports.


Designed according to Salewa's body mapping system, it utilizes targeted materials in different parts of the body to deliver targeted performance in each area. As a hybrid jacket, it can be worn as a mid-layer or outer layer. Windbreaker nylon fabric blocks wind and has a PFC- resistant DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Air-permeable Polartec® Alpha® inserts provide active thermal insulation, while brushed Polartec® Power Grid™ inserts on the collar, sleeves, sides, hem, and back provide lightweight moisture management.
