A ski helmet that speaks for you when you can't. The Obex BC MIPS is designed for quick identification and the added durability required for off-piste riding. Updated for the new season, it features the MIPS system, which enhances brain protection during falls. MIPS allows for 10-15mm of movement upon impact, which is designed to reduce rotational forces on the head. The helmet is equipped with an NFC medical chip, allowing rescuers to access important medical information at the scene of an injury, helping them make the best possible treatment assessment during the crucial "golden hour" immediately after an accident. The introduction of the NFC system is part of POC's approach to ski helmet design, which must, above all, ensure uncompromising safety. The RECCO® rescue reflector increases rescuers' ability to locate lost skiers. The Obex BC Mips features a thicker polycarbonate shell than the Obex MIPS, providing increased durability. The structure is also reinforced with aramid panels. The entire design has been optimized for a perfect fit and compatibility with POC goggles. Integrated vents vent goggles, and ventilation is fully adjustable. Removable earpads ensure comfort. The helmet is compatible with the Obex Communication headset (sold separately).
