La Sportiva BOULDER X MID GTX ZFAS054E32E26 SAVANA/ALPINE The La Sportiva Boulder X Mid GTX ZFAS054E32E26 Savana/Alpine combines durability and comfort, designed for technical off-road approaches. A leather and suede upper with a rubber toe cap protects against rocks, mud, and abrasions, while a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane ensures waterproofness and good ventilation, even on long hikes. A microporous midsole and 2mm EVA insert absorb shock, while the Vibram IdroGrip outsole with Impact Brake (IBS) system, with an additional climbing zone at the toe, provides excellent traction on both ascents and descents. A drop of approximately 6mm allows for natural foot positioning. The asymmetrical lacing system, inspired by the Mythos, a polished tongue, and a padded ankle collar also provide excellent comfort. The pair weighs approximately 1000g (size EU 42), making them heavier but solidly built. This shoe will perform well on mixed terrain – rocks, stones, wet ground – perfect for those looking for an approach shoe with great protection and reliability.
